Recently I saw a great party band. Mr. M & the All Nighters had us all up dancing to some of our favourite tunes from such greats as James Brown and Dusty Springfield. They call their music Northern Soul. It combines the best of soul music, rhythm & blues and good old rock & roll. The band is tight and consistently "in the groove" with two great vocalists, talented lead and bass guitarists, a terrific brass section and a drummer who holds it all together. Mr. M. & the All Nighters provided lots of fun and fine music for the evening. I'm looking forward to seeing them again. Peggy Stortz, West Vancouver

Live at Canada Day REVIEW by David Fyfe - Northern Soul DJ, Kelowna BC In the spirit of the northern soul scene Mr M & the All Nighters have captured the essence of what it is to be a soul band; simply put 100% pure energy. It's all here, A power vocal of Aretha Franklin, a brass style of the Bar Kays and that Hammond beat that takes me back to the sound of Stax records. Mr M has a knowledge base that would equal any Wigan Casino DJ.The band has that "feel good" sound about them - they combine the sound of summer and the sound of Motown, just needed if you want a night out. This is the band to see. This cd will have you dancing in your living room wishing you were Jackie Wilson or The Supremes. David Fyfe
